We receive many results for patients every day. This includes blood tests, urine tests, MRIs and X-Ray reports.
These are all reviewed by the duty doctor and marked as normal or needing further action.
If your results come back normal then you will NOT be contacted by the surgery. You may view the results yourself on the NHS App once they have been reviewed by the doctor but we will not contact you to let you know.
If your results have been reviewed by the duty doctor and they think it appropriate for further action to be taken (e.g. booking in a follow-up appointment to discuss, booking in with the in-house physiotherapist, prescribing appropriate medication), then you will be contacted accordingly.
